I wonder if the bus from St Stefanos to Sidari runs through Avliotes, Maria. See the timetable on www.ktelkerkyras.gr/…

I live in Avliotes and the buses run through the winter some starting in San Stefanos and some from outside Avliotes (Olive Press). The local KTEL bus runs Avliotes, into Sidari and onto Corfru Town, one of the buses also runs via the village or Peroulades. You can google KTEL for more info oin times.

Hi Maz, no markets, its a small village approx 2,000 residents, there are a few local minimarkets which would stock fruit/veg of the season. So many people grow their own produce these days so depending on how long you are here for that could be an option as well. In the main supermarkets you will find they all have a section with locally grown produce. Also (althu a bit hit & miss as and when) there is a van which comes round selling veg etc. You can also arrange with the local bakery they also have a white van that comes round daily and they deliver fresh bread from the Avliotes bakery. A few days a week they bake a wonderfull brown bread with seeds called Polispora, very tasty.
