Pretty sure you can as we've often seen papers for sale in s'markets. Cost-2.5 euros? Personally I'm too tight to buy one as that's the cost of a pint! Yamas!

Yes Gill you can for between 2.50-3.00 euros and usually they are the day before's papers too!!! and sometimes are not delivered till after lunchtime xx I try to avoid them on holiday as I do not have a care in the world but sometimes I know I am cheeky - take a sneaky read of the front page when they arrive in the gift shop next door - much to maria's amusement!!!!!

Exactly Michelle-not a care in the world & whatever's happening-so be it. Mrs S has become quite adept at reading upside down newspapers in s'markets & I have been known to appropriate newspapers from a bin if I see one! I refuse to buy one though on principal that it's simply not worth 2 or 3 euros whereas my beer is!!!

I usually find lots of people just leave them for others to read - so sometimes I read them if I feel the need to - otherwise never bother - and never watch the news for longer than 1 minute as my concentration span is limited when I am on holiday - well pretty non existent actually unless we are out and about on trips or such like especially on shopping trips hah then my attention/concentration span is at it's best!!!! much to Mr M's dismay!!!!

Usually everything happens when I am away in Sidari, because I steer clear of the newspapers....It is bliss!

I have to admit i love my newspaper when i am sitting round the pool or beach, I have the Sun app on my ipad its costs 4.99 for 30days so as long as i can find free wifi i'll get mine that way. Not paying 3 euros for yesterdays news :)
