For the first time ever we're thinking of going away over Christmas and fancy treating ourselves to somewhere different. We're experienced skiers and we know already that Levi won't give us the breadth of skiing that we're used to in, for instance, the 3 Valleys. That doesn't bother us. We've skied in Hafjell in Norway, which also has limited slopes, and really enjoyed it (we're also used to the hideously expensive alcohol prices lol).
From everything we're reading Levi sounds fantastic, apart from one thing and we can't work out if it's a major problem or not. Given that we're looking at flying out on 22nd December (with 21st being the shortest day of the year) are we really going to struggle to get any meaningful amount of skiing in?
Also, if we want to do excursions as well as ski, can they only be done in the limited daylight hours so we would have to forgo skiing to, for instance, do a husky ride?
Thanks in advance for any help.
