RDC Building 1?

Planning a trip to the RDC on Nov 26th. We would really like an oceanfront room if we can snag one. My only concern is when I was there the last time which was 8 years ago I remember guest complaining the air conditioning wasn't good in that block and the rooms were more dated. Does anyone have some recent experience with this? I have read about the noise and that's not really an issue for us, I would rather wake up looking at the beach and ocean. Thanks for the help.

It is still old and dated with the furniture that would be better placed at a garage sale. But the beach is still there within steps. As long as you get a room in the south end, noise will not be a problem. I stayed at Christmas, got the worst room next to two bars and it was hell. Fully booked, we couldn't change rooms for 1 day and had to move to building 4. Really, it was the night from hell, but in November, that should not be a problem.
