Riu Jalisco Exchange priviliges

Does anyone know whether you are able to make use of the facilities at any other local Riu hotels when staying at the Riu Jalisco?

As others have posted, the Pacific coast has just come back onto a tour operators program in the UK. We have stayed on the Caribbean coast and enjoyed the use of neighboring Riu hotels, hoping it would be the same on the Pacific coast!

Welcome.

It is GREAT you get to come back to the Pacific coast..

This map might help. : http://vallarta-info.com/nuevo.html

The 3 RIUs in Nuevo (New) Vallarta. are NOT next door to each other.

The Jalisco is the oldest., then One condo next door. to South is the Vallarta.

If you book the Jalisco you can NOT go to the Vallarta of the Pacifico Palace.

If you book Valarta you CAN go to the Jalisco, but Not the Palace.

If you book the Palace you Can go to the other two.

You have diff. colored bands and Securtiy Watches...

Jalisco is closing in Aug. to Nov. for Redo.

hope this helps.

Hi Joy, thanks very much for your reply!

Its a shame you dont get to exchange if you go to the Jalisco. We prefer the look of that hotel to the Vallarta, but the exchange privileges was a great perk when we were in Playa del carmen!

Oh the agony of choice!

Palaces are OUT at Playa also.. and Lupita guests can no longer go to the other 3 resorts, just Their beach club. Things change.

good luck on your choice...

Didnt expect to be able to use a Palace when not staying in one, but when staying at either the Tequila, Yucatan or Playa car in PDC you can use the facilities at the other 2.

We did just get back from the Riu palace Mexico which was superb, but potentially more than we want to pay for the trip we are looking at booking next

Just totally clueless at the moment with the Pacific coast! No doubt I will be asking plenty more seemingly obvious questions! lol

Feel free to ask away... lol. Lots of info on the PVR forum. and Bucerias Forum and Nuevo forum (where the Rius are located).

How long a flight is it for you? I know to Cancun it is a Long flight.. we met British folks in the Domincan and that was even a Long flight..

12 hour ish from Manchester - which in turn is 2.5 hours drive from home.

Caribbean side is 10.5 hours, so whats an extra hour and a half between friends!?

Dominican was another option, we havent been there b4 either! Still, researching potential holiday destinations is half the fun!
