Mosquitoes in Nov ?

Can anyone tell me how bad the mosquitoes are in Nov?

We plan on being there around the first week in Nov.

It's the end of the rainy season but the dry season may not start until January.

Take lots of DEET. Same as everywhere in the Caribbean. Bugs hatch after the rains.

Nice thing about CL is the on shore breeze. Something people complain about when it makes some waves but exactly what we need to blow away the bugs.

yes there are... bring deet.. they are only bad in the morning and at dusk... rest of the time they are rare.

There are two good alternatives to DEET. Frankly, I use more than one type of insect repellent and was not bitten by anything while in Africa (and bugs love me).

Too bad there weren't sand fleas in Africa for you to research too.
