The beach is back!

Playa Blanca's beach is returning. They have posted a picture on Facebook.

Saw it too. Never gone for long. Almost a sin to call Sirena and Paraiso Backup Beaches for the few days here and there that the resort beaches aren't perfect.

Welcome back..

We never could walk that direction when we were there.

Doesn't look too bad!

Thanks for the comments Spunky and eeee.

Have the Sirena and Paraiso Beaches ever disappeared like at the Playa Blanca? I just adored those two beaches, still can't even believe the beauty of them.

When the beach in front of the PB disappears how long before it comes back?

Thx.

"Have the Sirena and Paraiso Beaches ever disappeared like at the Playa Blanca?"

Not Sirena, for sure. Paraiso can get a bit narrow, but I have never seen it disappear. Walking from Sirena to Paraiso was quite doable this time as well, but sometimes it gets washed out between them.

There is no reliable time frame for beach disappearances and reappearances. The sea giveth, and the sea taketh away. And sometimes after a storm you discover your beach has moved to the neighbouring hotel, or vice versa. :-)

Sirena is so thick.... And protected... Even hurricanes do very little damage to it
