Keep you eye on this post:

tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g294210-i9512-k467…

It's updated everyday by Doff who lives in MBA. Not much variation in weather pattern btwn Diani & MBA considering that it's about 30 miles apart.

Then again, it can be raining in MBA & dry as sticks in Diani.

Mother Nature - what can you say ?!

I am sure you will get plenty sunshine. The thunderstorms don't usually last too long.

Enjoy.

Hi,

we haven't had a thunderstorm here at the coast for months, that is why I started the thread because we the forecasts frighten people into thinking its raining all the time when in reality we are basking under blue skies and hot sun,

We have had a few overnight downpours recently but the weather has been overwhelmingly hot and sunny, We had one in the middle of the night last night, its sunny now, but there are a few grey clouds around so somewhere nearby might be having a shower

Showers tend to be torrential but as said above they tend to be short and very localised (which is often why the forecasts say what they do, they say rain there might be one short downpour in one particular place with the rest of the region basking in sun, and the forecast was correct - it rained (somewhere)
