Yes, on flat ground with roads and footpaths to the beach which is less than 100m away.

Thanks you have been a great help - the wrong location can be a real problem when traveling with elderly relatives.

Thanks for your previous help.

I have been asked to find out whether we can buy ciggarettes and newspapers on the resort.

If not how far do we need to travel?

Beach club part of the Hotel and beach club complex is very good for those with mobility problems , especially if you email ahead and ask for a ground floor room. Some rooms can be as near as 25 metres from the beach. Even access to the Hotel part is pretty easy with lifts and ramps all the way. Having at least one meal at the Hotel restaurant is a " must do " (one off the greatest views in the world) and a visit to the Chinese Restaurant in the Hotel (once visit per week is part of your A.I. package) just ask at reception

Newspapers can be bought from the shop about 100m away across the promenade.

Cigarettes are another matter.... there is NO Tabac shop in the resort, nearest one is a bus ride away in San Miguel village....but the beach bar (about 50metres away) has UK cigarettes "under the counter" for a few cents more than the official Tabac shop prices for your day to day needs (also at the sports bar on the road into the hotel). But for your "duty free" purchases a bus trip to San Miguel town or Ibiza Town is needed.

We love the San Miguel hotel/Beach club complex and hope you enjoy it too.

Hi there,

So glad you have enjoyed yourselves there.

Just one more question, is the beach bar part of the 'All Inclusive' deal?

No, the beach bar is totally independant.

BUT.... The Western Saloon (the bar which services the pool and the entertainment stage areas plus snack bar on A.I.) is only 10 strides from the beach, with 3 steps or ramp.

The hotel is not too bad for people with mobility problems

Its about a 100m walk but its all slopes

Be advised its quite dear for the sunloungers on the beach, 5 euros each per day if i recall
