Marmari cottages loggos, Greece

Hi there,

I would like to book one of the Marmari cottages (one of three in a cluster). Has anyone stayed there and if so, do you get a view of the sea?

Many thanks,

We stayed in the Marmari cottages for five years running. You don't get a view of the sea. The cottages are situated in olive groves about halfway between two beaches with around 2-3 minutes walk to each, but the gardens are so beautiful and peaceful that it makes up for the lack of a sea view.

Hi there,

Thanks so much for letting us know.

We've ended up going for a small studio cottage in Lakka which does have a sea view. We really wanted to be able to see the blue water!!

Many thanks again,

These are lovely little basic cottages in the most beautiful and peaceful setting that anybody could ask for. The sea is a 5 minute walk away with a lovely beaches. You are surrounded by olive groves, and when we were there in May, the fireflies were flitting around in the evening, and the owls would call across the groves to each other, magical! And the wildflowers!

WE were a group of friends on a painting holiday, and there was more than enough to keep us painting for months if we had been able to stay. There are also some lovely restaurants and tavernas nearby. A memorable holiday.
