buses from Luz to Lagos

Can I just check that two bus companies run from Luz to Lagos, Eva and Onda. One charges €3.45 and the other €1.50 for the same trip. Any idea what is the difference ? Am I correct in thinking that Eva doesn't run at night ? Do they run from the same stops ?

Many thanks for your help.

The normal bus is the ONDA bus. EVA run through Luz only because they go on from there to more distant parts. EVA and ONDA tickets are not interchangeable.

ONDA (means 'wave') buses are subsidised by Lagos Council.

The ONDA bus runs once an hour until around 8pm in winter, until midnight in July and August. Buses only run once every two hours on Saturday afternoons and all day Sundays and holidays in winter. In July and August they run every hour, every day.

is the timetable.
