Drumtochty Castle is outside the village of Auchenblae. I don't think there's anything on that actual road (although it's been a while since I've been there) and Auchenblae itself is quite small so I don't know how much accommodation there is

Anyway I found this but can't comment on what it's like.

The nearest towns of any size nearby are Montrose, Laurencekirk and Stonehaven(http://www.stonehavenguide.net). Montrose and Stonehaven certainly have more options on places to stay, but you would have to get a taxi from Drumtochty to get there.

Hi there,

I got married there a few years ago, and organised accommodation for relations at Netherton House. They all spoke very highly of the service, and would go back. There is also the Ramsay Arms hotel in Fettercairn - which you might find the bride will organise transport for you and other guests from there as it is the nearest good hotel.

Enjoy the wedding - it is a fabulous setting and day!
