I hardly ever use the hot water when having showers in Goa and they are not that cold.

And if you step between the frogs, and don't mind insects in the shower with you, and the monkeys watching, its not half bad.

I am a cold blooded wuss and can`t stand cold showers. When in Goa I regularly return to my room mid afternoon, turn the shower to cold and stand under it to cool my core temperature. it really is so refreshing. . . but not that cold!

Never felt the need for hot showers in Goa but if you think it may be a problem I'm aware the Madhu's front row huts now have hot water. They're about 1600 ruppees a night.
