Newbie

Having holidayed in Dalyan for many years, lived there for 3 years and owning an apartment there we are seeing it become much bigger and commercialized than we originally liked. Akyaka looks quieter and more what we'd like. Can holidaying here be on a budget ? We usually eat in local lokantas a bit outside Dalyan. Is this achievable in Akyaka ? Thankyou folks :-)

Not stalking you Allen but I'm interested in Akyaka too!!

Been to Olu Deniz twice & loved our first visit to Dalyan this year but since someone recommended Akyaka, I really like the look of it!

Lots of cheap places to eat. We found prices to be better than Dalyan.

One of our favourite snacks was balik ekmek (fish sandwich) huge pieces of battered fish and salad on half a crusty loaf , filling and very tasty 6tl.

Huge mixed grill in Gordo,s beach front restaurant 30tl but honesty too much for one person, share it!

Small food stalls around town selling hot potatoes, ice cream, waffles etc. local market has fantastic produce for cheap lunches, fruit etc.

We spent the same in Akyaka in 11 days as we did Dalyan for 6.
