Flew on time, clean & tidy , Comfortable flight , drinks were provided. Security was fine spoke English

When it was LAN PERÚ, it was a far better experience in all aspects.
I chose to only fly LAN PERÚ.
My first observation was the counter help at airport check in.
It seemed they wanted to converse more with each other than assist guests. The organization was a little chaotic with directing the customers.
The plane.
The Airbus was fine. Some may complain it is too small.
I do like the app for movies.
The plane appearance for cleanliness and presentation was subpar.
Red sauce dried up on my seat and tray?!
Half the seats had paper towels for the head of the seat and the other half didn’t.
Before, it was all one color blankets.
Orange with other items in the bag.
Now, different colors that looked dirty with no uniformity and some items missing.
Flight attendants should all be in uniform with same color make up and hair standards. Uniform should be worn EXACTLY the same way.
The flight attendants seemed pleasant enough on the trip.
Noticed the enough?
No above the standard procedures like it once was.
Beverages and Food.
What happened?
The food was great before.
It has gone down hill to the bottom.
Bland pasta that l saw most people not finish.
When l asked for a glass of wine, the flight attendant responded with the “we discontinued alcohol on the flight”.
EXCUSE ME!
Not even to buy?
No.
I was astonished.
I could have flown Avianca at a lower fare yet chose to be loyal to Latam. Only to be shown that Latam Airlines are not loyal to their customers.
Don’t follow the U.S. airlines no frills ideology to save a dollar.
Let’s always do better.

Due to fly out Friday at 17:45 but LATAM cancelled the flight departure twice last update was departure 02:45 well no way was we going to stay in the airport all those hours, so I asked to. Hangs the flight to departure Saturday 12:35 departure flight LA2639 LATAM changed our flight, booked a overnight hotel Holiday inn Airport (first class hotel) booked a taxi both ways for us and when we boarded a very pleasant surprise a Boeing 767-300 we had a great flight and great service complements to LATAM for looking after us

Having read so many crappy reviews I feel compelled to comment. Akl Syd Akl the last few days. Absolutely fine. Nothing to complain about at all. No different from so called premium airlines. Would happily do it again. Nice staff.

The new Dreamliner fleet LATAM operates on its longer sectors is excellent and the business class seats are huge. The configuration is 2-2-2 so the window seats either side don’t have direct aisle access, which could be a problem on an overnight flight. If you’re travelling alone I’d recommend taking one of the centre bank of seats so that you don’t feel hemmed in by someone you don’t know next to you, or get disturbed by them wanting to move around at night, if you have the seat in the flat bed position.

Amenities are basic - a small kit with L’Occitane products, plus a pillow and duvet. There are no mattress pads (the seat feels a bit hard when fully reclined) and if you’re very tall (over 185cm) you will have to curl up to sleep.

In sitting position, the in flight entertainment screens are a long way off, which was a bit of a struggle to see, and the storage options at your seat are limited.

Food on the flight was edible and requests were actioned fairly quickly. Priority boarding at Lima airport is a bit disorganised - passengers with special needs get boarded first but this doesn’t appear to be well policed.
