Sandefjord/Torp to Copenhagen in Flex class, April 8, 2017. Overall, a pleasant experience with this airline. Check-in was swift and efficient, and the boarding process was organized. There was no lounge at the departure airport, but the terminal was quiet anyway and there would be a meal on the plane. Besides, it was possible to purchase food at one of the cafeterias (I didn't). The aircraft was a Dash 8 Q400, registration LN-WDE. I was surprised to see that despite the aircraft being built in 2007 (long after smoking was banned on flights), the seats were equipped with ashtrays. That being said, the seat was comfortable, legroom was decent (I sat at a bulkhead seat), and the aircraft was in good condition. The flight departed on-time. As I was traveling in Flex class, I was served a complimentary brunch. It consisted of two open-faced sandwiches (one with salmon, the other with pastrami), and a fruit salad (melon & grapes). It was tasty, perfect for a 1h long flight, and significantly more substantial than the snacks served by partner SAS in their "Plus" cabin on late morning flights like this one. The crew (two females in their 40s or early 50s) weren't the friendliest, but they were professional and did their job correctly. All in all, it was a pleasant experience with Widerøe. I would recommend them over SAS or Norwegian Air Shuttle.
