First time on cruise with my mum and dad. I can’t describe just how impressed I was with all staff on board. There was not enough that all members of staff were willing to do to help, especially the elderly and disabled.

Facilities on board are brilliant. Obviously the non balcony cabins are cheaper but they are smaller and have no windows. The balcony cabins have a mini bar and tea and coffee facilities and a safe. The bathrooms are small but fully equipped with everything you need including beach towels. Rooms are tidied twice a day.
There are two ways to dine. The buffet. And a proper three course sit down meal at one of the restaurants. It depends on how formal you want it to be. The buff eats have the largest choice of foods I’ve ever seen. Rice, curries, salads, roast dinners, pasta, chips, desserts and cheeses. Selection on breads is huge.
The formal dining is a selection from a menu. It’s more upmarket than buffet and is truly fine dining with usual choices, but also things like venison and game. There is also a totally separate menu for vegetarians and vegans. But, if you do have very strict vegetarians like my parents, the menu manager comes and discusses the next day’s menu with you and customise the menu to your needs. They learn in the first day what you need and remember for all days. You sit in same table with same diners and waiters every day. The sommelier remembers your choices and has them ready for you each day.the good is awesome!
Then there is entertainment! All day long! Lots of shows, singers, dancers. There are films showing. Theatre shows. They have table tennis, archery, yoga. So many things to do. You don’t have to leave the ship!
All excursions can be booked from the ship and totally organised to perfection.
So many facilities for disable with wheelchairs.
And lastly, all the travellers are so friendly! It’s like a little village and everyone talks to everyone. We loved it so much, we are planning our next trip!
We stopped at Vigo, Madeira, Tenerife, La Palma and Lisbon.
Excellent trip. Excellent staff.
