Flying has become a bigger ordeal with the airport situation and security, but we choose to arrive the two hours before and be settled and ready for our flight which I think helps. We always choose Alaska Airlines when possible. As usual this flight was on time and boarding was efficient and pleasant. We were fortunate to get an upgrade for the first part of our flight on the return trip from Cabo through California and an agent met us on leaving customs with updated tickets needed for traveling through security to our new gate The stewardesses took great care of us with multiple visits offering beverages and offering friendly conversation. I think Alaska has some of the better seating room for all levels of tickets and they do not make you feel like you are being herded around or treated like cattle. In addition, we enjoyed the free in-flight movie and TV options by watching a movie on each flight. Their rewards program has attainable benefits even for the occasional flyer and they will continue to be our first choice.

For some reason Alaska uses both Terminal 1 and 2 for flights. Terminal 2 is for check in. On the boarding passes you dont' see a terminal or gate info when you check in.

So after arriving at Terminal 2 I see on the board I'm at a gate not found in the terminal. I ask and am told to walk 10 minutes outside the airport to terminal 1. Very strange.

Plane left 30m late arrived 40m late. perfect weather, so not sure what the issue was.

The flight attendants are so nice and make the trip easy. The food selections are better than some airlines. Always a joy to fly Alaska.

Great leg room, service and entertainment (Free). New elegant design of aircraft. Bring your own ear plugs for the built in video screen.

Employees were very courteous and helpful. They all seemed to be happy to do whatever they could to make the trip easier. The planes were clean and the interior seemed well kept.
