This was not an experience to recommend, the bag check and drop is at best described as utter chaos that could be described as an every soul for themselves chaotic struggle to get to a check in kiosk which then crashes more often than a drunk panda driving a rocket powered unicycle. Seriously it is a mess. You check in and then join the scrum waiting for an overly aggressive lady to call your name and number and tag your bag. Now this is a story of contrasts in that one member of staff whose name I did not get, was so kind in her help of people struggling with an overloaded and incompetent system that I think she should be promoted forthwith. Anyway the lady who tags the bags, she has what I would describe as a latent aggression to her customer service customer charter. Abrupt is laconic compared to this lady, maybe the stress of the impossible task she is faced with has a stressful burden placed on her shoulders, but she may be working through that via her and placing of the bags on the belt. I can best describe it by saying if Vince McMahon were watching her then she would get her own WWE smackdown franchise.
Then I had the temerity to try enter the lounge and hope to pay cash for the privilege. This is an utter no no, American Airlines don't accept cash and I am an imbecile for not knowing this, no card, no interest, no empathy.

Did not enjoy the flight at all, flight attendants so abrupt, no smile, serving food with no attention and care. The looks on their faces is that they dont enjoy their job and dont like dealing with people. Extremelly bad customer service. Next i'll have to fly with different airline. Dreading our return flight.

For frequent flyers of One World you can get the the AA 'main cabin extra' for no extra charge and this gives you more seat and legroom then normal coach (9 seats across versus 10). It is worth it to get this little bit of extra room if you had to pay more for it. The coach food on AA is OK. The stewards/stewardess are OK but not too friendly. I recommend you buy a bottle of water to take with you on to the airplane to make sure you get enough water. And it looks like AA is going back to pouring wine from large bottles into glasses instead of handing out small wine bottles, this is probably an improvement.

Really American, you call this first class, offered one drink, a packet of chips and then the flight attendants sat and chatted all flight. If this is your version of 1st Class service then I will stick with my airlines of choice which is not American

Very good service and a very good price for a direct flight. I booked my
Flight on the AA site. The price and the trip duration was better.
