“Not the airline that it was”
Reviewed 6 days ago
NEW

The last time I flew BA, the inflight service was good, with great service and leg room.
What a difference when they decided to be another cut price airline but forgot to cut the price. They only food on board was overpriced Marks and sparks sandwiches, and if you wanted water they charged nearly Two Pound for a small bottle. Actually I thought a Restaurant had to supply water free of charge on demand.
Next time we fly we will do better research

Travel Tip: Take your own food and water on board

“Business class. Poor service. Worse seats.”
Reviewed 6 days ago
NEW

The B787 with the A350 are the top jets flying now. And to think how bad the bus class seat config is on BA's YYC-LHR run on the 787 is very disappointing. Tight tight tight - no storage and very hard. Very uncomfortable. And the backwards forwards design is really bad unless you are a couple. Very weird. And on way home even though my tickets were cash purchased they did not allow 24 pre-depart checkin and at airport they said we were stand by. Business class stand by. What a mess. Luckily we got on.

Travel Tip: Be very cautious with this airline. Cash bought business class does not guarantee a seat.

“Downgraded due to grossly oversold flight”
Reviewed 6 days ago
NEW

Due to a heavily oversold flight, I was downgraded to Economy despite a confirmed ticket and seat in Premium Economy; I suppose I was lucky as a dozen other passengers were forced to fly-out the next day. The Supervising Gate Agent promised me cash compensation and a refund in the ticket price class difference. I have received neither despite repeated attempts to resolve the situation with British Airways. No one wants to take responsibility at BA, and I have been passed-off repeatedly, even by managers. After flying 180,000K last year, I have never had a worst case of customer service by an airline. To make matters worse on my flight, they sat me next to a one-year old baby who cried for the entire ten hour flight.

Travel Tip: Good luck if you ever need Customer Service help at British Airways.

“Winter Trip to London/Spain”
Reviewed 6 days ago

Traveled to London in Business and back in Premium Economy, and I prefered the Premium Economy Better Food and staff were the same in my opinion, excellent. Did not find the Seat/Bed in Business all the comfortable. Given the price I would travel Premium Economy again.,
