“Delta Comfort +”
Review of Delta Air Lines

Reviewed 3 weeks ago via mobile

Definitely not worth extra price to get 4” extra space nothing different From economy except for 4”. At one point Delta tried to call Comfort + first class. Is really a sham totally unnecessary unless u r over 6’4”

    • Customer service (e.g. attitude, care, helpfulness)
    • Legroom
    • In-flight entertainment (WiFi, TV, films)
    • Value for money

Delta Airlines really has their act together! This is my first time flying with them (wierd!) and it was a pleasure. Everyone from the gate to the flight attendants was friendly and very professional. The plane itself was extremely clean and comfortable. I will definitely be flying with Delta again in the future.

We flew Pasco to Vancouver with Delta expecting mediocre service. We were meet with splendid flight attendants. They were so kind. We flew a relatively new Embraer 175 with enhanced winglets to Salt-Lake city for our connection to Vancouver. We had trouble connecting to the in-flight entertainment system but it was a short flight so we resorted to reading. We arrived in Salt-Lake and waited for our connecting flight to Vancouver. The next flight was delayed but the flight attendants and the pilots were as nice as the last flight's. This time we were upgraded to comfort plus and were amazed by the legroom for a short light. This was a older plane but like the plane before had extremely wide seats. The entertainment system worked as well. Overall Delta for short flights is probably the best regional experience I have had.

Trust me on this one...the little bit of money you save booking a large group through Delta/KLM/Air France will, in no possible way, be worth it! Anything you book through the Groups Dept. you will not be able to deal with online, and the department closes by 8 pm Easter time, so if you're on the West Coast, you will out of luck by the time you get off of work. No one in the department can provide a consistent answer, and you will receive emails confirming things that they can't even locate when you call. I am traveling in 3 days with a group of 17, and I have spent more time booking a one-hour flight through the Groups Dept than the rest of the flights from one continent to another. Honestly, save yourself the hassle. They have no idea what they are doing there!!

We flew back to Edinburgh from JFK flight DL409 on Monday 25 June. It was the flight from hell. I say flight but the worst part was the 3 hour + wait to take off once we boarded because of “paperwork/ technical” issues..

Although the pilot kept us informed as best he could it was a bad experience and to be honest the plane wasn’t the newest we had ever been on. If you want to fly NYC to Edinburgh choose a different airline as the planes on this route are tired and on the outbound flight the cleanliness of the toilets left a lot to be desired. I won’t fly with Delta ever again the service was poor. The food, especially the pizza type snack was awful. Tip - bring your own sandwich!
