For the price paid, I received an amazing service at a great value. Friendly staff, good on-board food, no major delays, and a comfy seat.

I also recommend:

1. Get some travel insurance (there's always a chance that something goes wrong and like that, you're covered)

2. "Upgrade" your ticket to a FLEXI ticket. It costs a little bit more, but you get better seat options, early boarding, and several more extras that make flying more comfortable. Plus, it's really not that much more - especially when you compare it to legacy airlines.

3. At Gatwick, I usually buy the train tickets for going to London at the airport (not in the airplane) and at departure, I buy a sandwich or sushi (plus drink) at the airport and eat/drink it during my flight to Switzerland.

Even with the extra costs for FLEXI and meals, I feel that it the airfare is cheaper than at legacy carries, EasyJet is certainly at lot faster than connecting through some big hub, and with the airport purchased meals easily beat any airplane food that is served in other airplanes - even business class airplane food !

In my view, EasyJet is by far the best choice on this route (and most other destinations from Basel).

First time using Easyjet and was a bit apprehensive having previously only used Ryanair for budget flying. Needn't have worried at all. Evening bag drop at Gatwick was quick, simply and easy. Departure the following morning was on time, boarding was a breeze. Service on the plane was great and the staff were really friendly, even at that early hour of the morning. Was a great trip and would not hesitate to book with them again.

50 minute wait for take off slot waiting for push back at departure , same at Naples on way back , food ran out only tea and drinks left also on way back, I know they are cheap but I wonder if they get delayed by air traffic control,on purpose for some reason . Unfortunately I would travel with them again as they know people like myself have no choice if I want to travel, but I will look at alternatives next time

“Never again!”

Dreadful sums up our experience. No announcement and no warning that gate was 15 minutes walk from terminal for our 6am flight. Got to gate & not allowed to board as couple of minutes late. Woman on gate shrugged her shoulders and told us it wasn't her problem. Escorted (with several others) back through customs where Customs Officer told me this was common for easyJet. At Customer Services we were able to book a later flight but at a cost! £80 each one way!! Our return flights weren't that much to start with!! 20 people flying to Corfu were all charged £80. I can only surmise that this is how the airline makes it's money. We waited nearly 3 hours to have our luggage returned. Not one member of easyJet staff had an ounce of empathy & absolutely no idea of customer service. At the gate for our 1150am flight lots of passengers were late but were allowed into the waiting area & the flight didn't board until 1140am - totally different attitude but perhaps they'd made enough money by then. The plane was shabby & dirty. The seats had stains on them and the fabric was torn on the backs of the seats in front of us. In the toilet various handles were broken. Will never never never fly with them again. Cheap and nasty.

“Think carefully before booking this airline”

You think you've been on bad flights? Think again. This is literally one of the worst flights I have ever been on in my whole entire life. I have been traveling since I was only 3 years old, and I have never been in a worse flight than this one. I was on a plane that almost crashed, and even that flight was 3028 times better than this flight. Don't fly in this plane. You think some planes rip you off? Think again. You think it's normal to have a small book bag and an average sized suitcase with you to an airplane. But no, that is not allowed on this cheap flight. In attempt to snag money from you, you are only allowed one small suitcase that fit tight parameters. And what's even worse is that if you have a book bag with you, you will be charged about 50 dollars per person per extra baggage. We were a but lucky to get some nice check in staff, but if you're not luck, be ready to empty your whole bank account because they are 100% ready to take your money for things that don't make any sense. Beware of this flight, and do not take it under any circumstance. Their requirements and overcharges were never written on the website, and the whole registration was chaos because many families argued against these outrageously expensive prices. The flight wasn't even smooth, with more turbulence than there should be in an average 2 hour flight. I would never fly here again, no matter the circumstance. Please read this review carefully and do not fly on this airline until they decide to change these horrid and completely meaningless regulations. Do yourself a favor. I hope this review helped give an overall perspective on this airline.
