Onboard experience was good, the process to board the aircraft and depart was confusing. There wasn’t clear marked boarding lines. The line literally blocked the exit from the escalator. I was selected to be removed from the line to place my bag in the bag sizer. I wasn’t upset, yet the lady that removed me from the line told me that she was only doing her job. I placed my bag on top of the sizer and she immediately said it wouldn’t fit and yet 3 seconds later I completely squeezed (yes it was tight) the bag into the sizer. She once again told me that she was doing her job and my response was that “I am only helping you do your job.” Next, there seemed to be a lot of confusion amongst the cabin and ground crew after the aircraft boarded. Passengers were on the aircraft that were not accounted for because their boarding passes were not scanned and yet they were on the aircraft. It wasn’t just one passenger but numerous people causing the aircraft to be delayed. In my opinion, the ground crew was more focused on baggage size rather accounting for who was on the aircraft. Is baggage size take greater priority over who is on-board the aircraft? In my opinion the ground crew at VCE was poorly managed. No more Easy Jet for me!

Flight cancelled one hour after supposed departure. No reason or apology given. Only one staff at Menzies counter who could only advise. Told us all to rebook through Easyjet app, which was almost impossible to access - totally overloaded. I finally rebooked a flight THREE DAYS LATER. Had to sleep on airport floor first night, as there was no way to book the free accommodation through the app. All in all terrible and uninformative customer care. Very disappointed. Apparently cancellations are becoming more and more common, with no help for the passengers at the airport.

Travelling with my 15 year son with cerebral palsy has its challenges especially during the onboarding and offboarding process. He has a specialist manual wheelchair which he needs to be taken in right up to the aircraft doors. He also need to take onboard 5 extra pieces of hand luggage for his medical condition. I also needed an additional suitcase of 29kg to cary more medication and equipment for my son. All of this was agreed in advance with EasyJet customer services and I had no problems at either airport during check-in or on boarding. In addition to all of this my son needs a special Crelling harness to provide additional upper body postural support. This has two straps that need to be fitted around the aircraft seating above and below the tray. Again I had no problem fitting this and staff were helpful and patient as it takes sometime to set up. I the whole family were upgraded to speedy boarding free of charge and seats were allocated in row 2 and 1 also free of charge to make it easier to onboard and offboard.

Overall a very good experience and without any doubt would be very happy to fly with easyJet again.
