Review of Oman Air

From check in to departing the flight it was a great flight both out and back. Nothing is too much trouble for the cabin staff, all are so polite and friendly, it was a real pleasure to fly with this airline. The food was hot and very good. Plenty of drinks available both alcoholic, juices and water. Would definitely fly with them again.

A very friendly and efficient service. Everyone is so polite and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. From check in to leaving at the other end I have no complaints at all. The food was good and hot. Snacks were available and plenty of drinks too.

Bought ticket on Oman Air for Bangkok to Casablanca via Muscat.
The airline decided that they will change the flight schedule of the connecting flight from Muscat to Casablanca 3 DAYS AFTER I’LL ARRIVE IN MUSCAT.

Unreliable.

We flew to Doha from Heathrow in October, with a transfer in muscat for the final hour or so of the journey. The service/check in at Heathrow was OK, but do feel having flown with other airlines the whole process was without "heart". The fleet of planes Oman own are fine but there is just something missing from the service point, be it the bland and basic meals and meal service to the disorganised ground staff at the airport check ins. Goes without saying that even with their low prices, this was my first and last flight with Oman

The seating and the leg room was comfortable for the journey. However, the service was not so great. We had booked a pre-booked meal of our choice in the first flight to Oman. But opposed to our choice, we were left with no choice to be served a beaf-based meal, which we usually do not eat.

Secondly in our connecting flight, we were allocated seats at back of the plane. During the serving, the air hostess totally forgot to serve my wife, while she said she was getting another meal and when we reminded another steward, he said, that there was no more of our choice of meal. So my wife was served a tray, without the main meal... This was the first time we witnessed a forgetful air hostess.... Wait, the same air-hostess also forgot that I asked for eye mask... Never in all the flights travelled have I witnessed such a uncaring, unmotivated forgetful air-hostess.... So, the first impressions with Oman air has been totally disappointing.

Will I book with Oman air again... Who knows... Seems unlikely at the moment... . Disappointing...
