So looking forward to flying in the A380. Shame though that the excitement was short lived. No working TV for 7 hours. I asked for the attendant to see if they could fix it. Rebooted it 3x and made no difference a supervisor then reset it a further 2x but never worked so for 7hours I had nothing at all to do.

We were meant to fly Business class return from Edinburgh to Hong Kong on 17 April at 1445. We turned up to check in to be told our flights had been cancelled. We received no email that our flight had been cancelled and only learned when we tried to check in. My wife had gone on the website the day before our flight to investigate the possibility of changing our return to an earlier date to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with family in Edinburgh. She did not make any changes as the cost would be more than the cost of the original flights. Qatar claimed by going on website our flights had been cancelled and we had to book new tickets at an outrageous price. It was very difficult to speak to a representative who just kept repeating we needed to book new tickets. There was zero customer service or support. The flight left without us, leaving us to make our own arrangements that necessitated flights to London to take a late evening Cathays Pacific flight to HK. Qatar took our money but cancelled our flights. It must rank as the world's worst airline for taking our money without providing any service in return.

I had to cancel my flight due family circumstance and illness. I didn't mind taking a voucher for future travel rather than a refund. I have a knee problem and so paid $600 extra for seats with leg room only to find out that this is non refundable.
Total paid $2,838
Refundable back into bank account $ 1,832 =$1,000 loss.
Refund as a future travel voucher $2,200+ loss of $600.
Flight was booked on 15th April and cancelled on the 18th. Was due to leave Perth on the 21st April

What a rip off!

They do not help with anything when the flight got cancelled!! People are waiting for days to get some answers or flight changes, they are not even answering the phone to anybody, even the dubai airport office, just left everybody on their own, with no help, no refunds, no flight revises!!

amazing airline with great service and very valuable award points unlink Turkish airline that has Very poor service by Turkish ticketing and gate customer support after the ground stop forced us to reschedule. First rep said we can't book you another flight since your ticket was booked using miles.
Then they said we booked a flight from JFK (30 miles away!) upon going to JFK found out ticket was an economy not a business ticket that I had and also had to pay for it again!!!
