“Good balance price / quality”
Review of Ryanair

Ideal for city-breaks max 3-4 days when you don't need big suitcase. Unfortunately sometime this suitcase is more than flying price. Preferable to take priority boarding and there are a lot of advantages as:
- no staying in the queue
- 2 suitcases with you in the plain: medium one and small one
No issue regarding space where to put it all because you are first in the plain.

After our Baltic Cruise, we wanted to stop in Ireland before heading home. We purchased priority seating when we booked our tickets in February. Shortly after that, we got another email saying we could choose our seats, so my husband paid extra money to have more room. We chose our seats then, but to ensure we have them he had to pay again. So there are first two payments for the same seats on the same flight. We thought we were good to go. However, in April a new law/guideline went into effect that non-EU passengers had to have a special check in at the airport. When we got to the airport, we found that we had to check in online to get our boarding passes. When we tried to check in online using the Ryanair app, it said we couldn’t check in until we print a boarding pass. But we can’t print the boarding pass until we check in online. The biggest reason we couldn’t check in on the app was because they wanted us to purchase seats again. However, when we tried to check it online using the website, it still made us pay for our seats again. This was payment number three for the seats and we still couldn’t sit together. Then they couldn’t print our boarding pass without a fee of about US$40. Our friends were unable to check in online at all and had to pay in excess of US$100 to print boarding passes. Cha-Ching again.
We wanted to take care of this discrepancy at the airport, but there were no Ryan air representatives available to help us until one hour before the flight, and we couldn’t get to them because we had to go through passport control and they were behind a glass enclosure. When we can finally speak to them they didn’t offer us much in the way of help, in fact, they told us we would need to take care of it another time. The agents at aviator tried very kindly to help us, but there was little they could do for us because of the mistakes by RyanAir and the lack of a presence by RyanAir. In fact, we were told if we couldn’t check in online by a deadline of two hours before departure, we would have to re-purchase our tickets at a cost of about US$400. With spotty airport Wi-Fi, that wasn’t easy to do, and we barely made the deadline.
When we were ready to board the plane we went through all of the queues and made it to the door and they changed our gate. We all had to file back out so we didn’t get off the ground until about 40 minutes after our departure time was scheduled.
Arriving in Ireland, we had to wait about 15 minutes to get off the plane because they had to find gate agents to bring the stairs over. When we were able to get off the plane, we could not get into the airport because the doors were locked. We had to wait another five minutes for someone to open the gates and let us into the airport.
RyanAir made our trip unnecessarily stressful. Never again!!!

I flew to Dublin on the 2130 flight from Manchester to Dublin and I can say that its departure was delayed and we finally took off at 2300 arrived in Dublin at 2322 as the pilot out his foot down... The landing was very heavy indeed and not balanced at all.. the aircraft was reasonably clean too.

The flight itself was ok, but having to wait 1h30min to take-off while we were seated and doors were closed was not very nice... The flight was only 45 mins! We spent more time on the ground then actually flying so... not cool.
