This was our fifth trip with Singapore Airlines, flying Business Class to the UK, so we basically knew what to expect. I do however think the flight between Perth and Singapore (Business Class) is a waste of money. The plane we were on looked very "tired". I also object to having to pay for Wifi access after paying Business Class rates. A rip off in my opinion. However, would probably fly with Singapore again.

Singapore Airlines never fails to make me happy. Their friendly staff on air and ground makes the world of difference.They serve good and quality food and drinks. Even on Economy they are generous with their servings. Their present promos have made the budget run for their money and scram for travellers.

We are a couple in our mid 50's and travel overseas once or twice a year with another couple and choose to fly premium economy. Up until our latest trip we have flown Qantas premium economy and have been very pleased with the product offering, especially in the A380.

This latest trip to the UK we chose Singapore Airlines premium economy and were very disappointed. We choose premium economy for the more generous seats, greater space, access to toilets and privacy.

The Singapore Airlines premium economy offering falls short in 2 key areas:
1. No dedicated toilets for premium economy, you have to go back into economy (and on 2 of our flight legs 1 toilet wasn't working)
2. The premium economy section isn't restricted from the rest of economy, so we had people (including children) walking up and down the isles

The service was excellent and the food great but we pay the extra couple of thousand dollars to enjoy a premium offering and what Singapore Airlines delivered fell well short of what we expected or had experienced from Qantas

This flight was not the usual Singapore Airline experience we have previously enjoyed.
The meals were awful and the cabin crew were aloof and hurried.
Worst of all there was a constant squeaky noise in the cabin, mainly in the roof, sleep was very difficult; other passengers also commented on this.

Flew with Singapore Airlines last year to the Singapore F1 GP and did the same again this year. (We usually fly JAL). We can't fault them. Clean planes. Efficient, friendly staff. Reasonable meals. All good.
