“On time and good price”
Review of Southwest Airlines

Great airline - no charge for carry on baggage, or 2 checked bags. No frills - but reasonable cost and usually on schedule or arriving earlier than posted time.

The Southwest crews are always friendly and helpful. Their costs are less and they always seem to leave on time.

This flight was typical of our past SWA experiences through the years. Despite all the LAX "horror stories" we heard, this trip (arrival and departure) was a piece of cake! The LAX SWA terminal is not that large, and it's easy to find your way to baggage claim/ground transportation upon arrival. It is equally easy to negotiate check-in, ticketing, security and gate locations upon departure. I HIGHLY recommend SWA, especially for the massive animal known as LAX! SWA consistently delivers friendly customer service, on time (or often ahead of schedule) travel, and a great in-flight experience. Be aware that they only fly to select cities and they do not have reserved seats. They board by "zones" and it is "first come first served" in seat selection. They do not charge those annoying baggage fees. Your first two bags are included in your ticket price. SWA does not fly those annoyingly SMALL Embraer jets, even from small cities. I've never flown anything smaller than a Boeing 737 with SWA. They also offer one of the best cancellation deals out there. If you have to cancel a flight, you get FULL CREDIT toward a new flight, as long as it is booked within a year of your original travel date. No cancellation fees! They simply are the best!

I prefer Southwest Airlines based on the fact that you get to check in two free luggage items per person. There are no assigned seats so check in on line as early as possible. The staff was friendly. The flight was fine. Great competitive pricing is what keeps me coming back.

Southwest’s new planes remind me of the kind of plane I was on with Virgin America. They upgraded the seats so they are more padded and had an adjustable headrest. They use colored lighting above the seats and the aisles to make a nice environment. They were even playing music as we boarded! They’ve always offered excellent service from their crew. It was nice to see the nicer plane tho ✈️
