Short hop from Peoria to Chicago then a driect flight to Ireland. The stewards were busy the entire flight serving us a snack, then a meal and before landing a breakfast. Tail wind got us there an hour early.

Paid full fare first class ticket. All others in cabin were upgrades. I pre ordered my meal. When it came to my meal, they said that they ran out of what i ordered. They gave first dibs to the passengers who had status. Status, I said? I paid full fare. Sorry you don't have status. Stopped flying United which used to be my first choice. Oh well, no longer.

Flights were on time but be sure you download Uniteds app to keep you occupied in air with movies or games. Also be sure to charge all your devices because no charging outlets unless you upgrade to wider seat. Two flights didn't have wifi, so app was useless. After booking flights, return trip times were changed 3 times, each later than the original, ending up ro be 6hrs later. I called United and they changed return trip thru different airport, bu still arriving 3 hrs later than original booking.

Always professional and ready to serve the needs of travelers, United is the way to go. Whether you travel with babies or as a family with several children, I was very impressed with how the flight attendants interacted with everyone! I have never had a problem when flying with United.

If you are flying the friendly skies for more than a couple of hours I highly recommend that you spend the extra dollars and go Economy Plus. The extra leg room is worth it. Other than that service was quite good and comparable with other airlines. Departure and arrival times were very close to schedule.
