I dont even know where to start with this stunning island - it really is out of this world amazing.
As soon as you set foot off the boat onto this island the whole experience is truly sensational.
The staff were absolutley awesome, I really cant explain how friendly and how passionate they are, they get to know you by name, and make everything personal. The maids to the waitresses, to the bar staff to the manager katie, everyone helps makes this little island truly perfect, and it shows in the happy and passionate staff.
The food - wow, there is so much choice, and it really is amazing, I highly recommend the sunset bar for lunch and the seafood pasta - it was great!!! You cannot beat ordering from a menu which is exactly what you do every meal time including breakfast !! (Highly recommend the eggs benedict too)
The All inclusive package is also sensational, a great selection of drinks, nothing too much trouble, a great cocktail list - fantastic barmen which will whip you up anything you desire.

This island really has the chill factor, I dont think ive ever relaxed so much in 24 hours, it simplicity, its peacefulness you just cannot beat it.

The activites available are utterly awesome non motorised watersports, cycling just so much to keep you busy if you wish! We cycled around the entire island in less than hour, with stop offs at each of the islands stunning 5 beaches.

The rooms, well the rooms where can I begin - They are amazing. I was lucky enough to stay in a loft suite, which I highly recommend, very spacious, with his and hers sinks, a stand up shower and a bath. Huge king size bed which is actually one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever stayed in!! The verandah on these room types are stunning, 2 sunloungers and a table and chairs looking out towards the ocean it doesnt get much better than this.
I also got to see a seafeather villa - WOW is the only word to describe it, if you can do it book it, its amazing.
The beachfront rooms are so gorgeous too, they are really unique and are pretty much on the beach, all single storey aswell, which is a really added advantage as you have your own little patio area.
I felt all the rooms were gorgeous, and so well looked after.

I would return in a heartbeat to this magical island - I still talk about it wth so much passion and will do for years to come - Its just completley and utterly awesome!!

Room Tip: Go for a loft suite or a beachfront room.

I had a fantastic time on Palm Island. The chef was particularly accomodating to special dietary requirements and the food was delicious - so nice to order from a menu rather than have a buffet. Relaxing atmosphere and comfortable rooms. Especially enjoyed being greeted by the manager and key members of staff as we got off the boat and the fresh pineapple lollies and cool towels that were offered by staff when I was on the beach. It was so much fun getting to Palm Island by taking a light aircraft from Barbados and then being transferred to the boat by Golf buggy. I'd like to visit again!

Returned from the island this week. If your looking for a place to chill out look no further. Peaceful and quiet is what this place is all about. Great staff and very nice accomodations. The island is very small and you can walk around it in 1 hour. Check out each side with the small beaches and beautiful water.
Upon arrival we did not get assigned the island loft we wanted so we opted to take the "Sea Feathers" house. Wow Privacy Plus! Really!
Nobody walked by for three days so you can pretty much do what you like:) It was worth the extra money. I wasn't crazy about the upcharge but what the hell, you can enjoy it even more. BTW stocked bar came with it, golf cart and great maid service everyday. As I said the staff was great and the manager was the best. ( Happy now Katie::)).
The only suggestion I have for them is to improve the food. It was good but not great. Maybe an omlette station for breakfast would be nice. Definitely get the fresh fish at lunch. Dinners were decent. One night was fair and the next was great.
We did take the catamaran trip one day. Nice cruise but the spots for snorkeling were so-so. Been snorkeling many places and this was not high on the list.

Room Tip: If you can swing it go for either of the houses.

We returned to Palm Island this spring (March-April 2014) after a trip at exactly the same time in 2012. Everything that had been good before, was still good – the welcome, the stunning main beachfront – and other things were better. Partly we made a better choice of room - Beachfront, rather than Palm View (a little smaller, but lighter and a tad more stylish - why wouldn't you?). Plus the weather was a little less oppressive, and my anti-bug strategy was more effective.

The people were still the people - lovely, funny, generous. Same for the iguanas (still greedy). The service and housekeeping had tightened up quite bit, which had been a slight achilles heel two years ago: never bad, just a bit uneven. Really good now. Overall, this is a place that offers an alternative view of luxury. Not starched uniforms and manicured lawns. Rather the chance to lounge in the best of Caribbean culture – eating and drinking, sailing, exploring your own island on foot or by bike. Recommend an excursion to Tobago Cays, virtually fail-safe chance to swim with turtles (there are some around Palm, but they're shy!) with a boozy picnic thrown in.

Room Tip: Beachfront bungalows have charming details and the sound of the waves - they are semi-d, two units p...

My husband and I stayed at Palm Island in early April. We could not have asked for a more relaxing, tranquil, beautiful spot. This is the first place we have stayed that looks EXACTLY like the pictures on the website. We have been to many all inclusives, but this was the most perfect place for us. We thought the idea of no televisions in the room might be a problem, but we never missed it. The wi fi hot spots keep you well connected, if necessary. We loved taking the bikes to explore and there were many days we never saw another person on the beach. There is nothing more relaxing than swimming, snorkeling and eating in a regular rotation all day!
The food was very good, after reading some previous reviews we were afraid we might not have enough to eat, as we are both pretty big eaters, but we had more than enough, with a good variety at each meal. Chef Baka came to our table frequently to check on his fare. His soups are amazing and everyday there was some different type of fresh seafood at lunch and dinner.
Resort guests ages varied, but it seemed like most were "empty nesters." It was so nice to meet new people, but to also have your space whenever you wanted. Some meals were nice to share with others, other times quiet dinners alone were the ticket. Nightly entertainment during dinner added to the ambience, very low key and not over powering. The crab races really brought everyone together for a fun evening.
Snorkeling was very good at several different spots around the island, many varieties of fish. The Pink Lady trip to the Tobago Cays was amazing, we were the only people on the boat that day, talk about personal service! You have to have a pink Pink Lady tee shirt! The water sports staff was great, special thanks to Keith, Dylan and Silas.
The staff was very good, but they were exceptional in response to an event that happened to some new friends we met in Barbados on our way to Palm Island. Our friends experienced a major medical emergency on our fourth day there. There is no way to prepare for this type of event, but the staff handled it with the greatest professionalism, genuine concern and sincerity. Alex was filling in for Katie as manager for the week and he and Anthony and their staff were incredible. Everyone from housekeeping, especially Sandrina, to food service workers, to water sports, groundskeepers and everyone in between worked together to help out in any way they could. They made a very difficult situation a bit easier with their care.
The beauty of Palm Island is it's small size and intimate feel. If you like constant activity, shopping, big entertainment and 24/7 access to a food buffet, this is not the place for you. But if you like lazy days on the beach, swimming, snorkeling, bike rides, walking trails, great dinners cooked to order, served to you ocean side and meeting like-minded people vacationing with you, then you will love it!

OMG!! is all I can say. This place is Paradise.
Imagine your most wonderful dream about the holiday you dream of, it is here. Blue seas, white sand (actually pink sand due to the coral), Palm trees rustling in the breeze and a cocktail in your hand. It's a bit like the Maldives in the Caribbean, rustic luxury.
The staff at the resort are amazing and nothing is to much trouble. There is so much pride and passion it shows in everything they do. The food is superb and nothing is to much trouble for the amazing chef.
It is a get away from it all resort, a complete chillout and recharge your batteries kind of place. If you want a romantic picnic for 2 or a lovely catamaran cruise to Tobago Cays for swimming with the turtles this is the place for you.
Fly into Union Island and a 7 minute speedboat trip will take you to Palm Island. I felt like royaty arriving in such style.
The rooms are beautiful with views of the ocean and a spacious and comfortable.
Amazing, Amazing, Amazing.. I will be back but until then I will visit every night in my dreams.

Room Tip: All amazing but loft rooms 43 and 44 are wonderful.

I am not sure I want too many people to know about my paradise island...Oh well, as its you!
You know the idyllic image, White beaches, turquoise sea, palm trees, brilliant sunshine...Unspoilt reefs full of incredible sea life

Yes it is all here.

What makes it special though is the people...without exception from the reception staff to the pool-man, the barman to the chefs, the boat captains to all the waiting and housekeeping staff... all of the resort team were attentive, caring, and very importantly smiling!

Having had the pleasure of the company of Katy the ever present blond streak of lightning that manages the resort i have to say that she leads from the front and all of her team have a profound respect for her. She sets an example that they all seem to emulate.

WELL DONE PALM ISLAND!...
You won our hearts and we will recommend you all. Please don't change.
