“was there for a few days staying in a log...”
Reviewed 7 October 2010

was there for a few days staying in a log cabin nearby. Warkworth village is very quaint and the people very friendly. Good pubs and good food. The castle was a surprise! Never expected that in such a small place. The history is very interesting, as is all of the Northumberland coast. We spent a good 2 hours there as well as in the grounds and by the river. Well worth a visit.
