Went to this popular pub on Friday night. The first thing we experienced on entering was a terrible smell of cooking FISH? just like my gran used to do in the 50's. There was no seating for anybody but diners and when asked if there was we were told by the solomn barman, "No". That was it, no explaination or apology, just a "dont give a toss" remark. The drinks were overpriced at £14 for 2 pints, a half and one mixer with a single measure of Bicardi. Not too sure what to make of this but although I work and live a few hundred yards away I most definately will never go back there nor recommened it to anybody. We did not bother to stay and eat after that welcome. There are better within striking distance of this overrated pub/restaurant
