This shopping centre just gets bigger and bigger.
Reputed to be the largest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere with in excess of 500 shops, some of the large emporiums down to specialist fashion outlets, fresh food, theatres etc.

Be careful not to get lost as it is a very large establishment.
Parking is ample even if you need to wander up and down the parking bays for a while to find a spot such is the popularity of this complex.

Well worth a visit just to look around if nothing else

I had to kill 4 hours around this side of town so l thought led treat myself to a shopping expedition. Chadstone shopping centre is known for it variety of store inclusive of all the favourite top designer high end stores. A criticism I hear of the complex is that it is too big and confusing to get around. They layout may not be as methodical as Westfield Doncaster, the new additions to Highpoint and Northland make it similar in size. I liked that parking options were free and without time restriction. All 4 hours were utilised. Did not make one purchase in the end but will definitely return with my teenage daughter where purchased are guaranteed.

We were visiting Melbourne primarily to shop - so decided to spend a wet, cold & windy day in Chadstone.

It's huge with lots of variety from high end fashion stores, down to the ordinary 'everyday' types. I'm sure we didn't cover all of it, but thoroughly enjoyed the day, seeing shops we 'country Qlders' never get to shop at & other stores with a more extensive range than we have. It is nice & modern with wide walkways & plenty of food options, too.

We took the train from Flinders Street to Oakleigh station with the intention of catching the bus from there. But, it was too cold & windy to wait for the next bus, so we took a waiting cab, which turned out to be a great decision. It was a quick 3-4 minute drive for approx $7. Did the same for the trip back to train station.

Can't wait to go back one day - and shop the rest of it.

The toilets are absolutely extremely dirty! Shoppers; clean up after yourself!
Surely you don't do that at home?
Have some respect for others using the toilet after you!
Sorry to the majority who do the right thing, but everytime I have been at Chadstone, this is an aspect that I always encounter at the toilets located near the foodcourt and it is quite appalling!
Chadstone management - are the toilets being regularly cleaned?
It doesn't appear so as it is not just one toilet cubicle I am talking about.
It would be offensive to submit pics of each cubicle I attempted to use yesterday

It's enough to turn me off shopping at Chadstone.
