We spent the weekend celebrating a number of family anniversaries and enjoyed every moment of our time there. Having arrived from Canada we were completely satisfied with the hospitality, the hotel accomodations and the beautiful location. We felt we enjoyed the best of British food, drink, and entertainment and left with only great memories of our time there. Thanks!

This was our fifth stay, this time with friends. All of them agree with us that the Ravenstone is very friendly, comfortable, with good facilities and very good food. It's also good value at half-board. What's not to like? We'll be back.

We stayed for only one night as a stop-off on a journey further north.
The hotel is a beautiful building, with superb carved woodwork and antiques and set in an excellent position over looking the magnificent Lake land scenery.

We were greeted with professional friendliness by the owners and included in the happenings of the other guests.

The food was excellent. Although this was a very short stay, we will certainly revisit at our earliest opportunity.

This is our 4th stay at Ravenstone, which says it all. As usual there was a friendly welcome. The room was warm, comfortable and very clean and the views from the window stunning.

We had heard that the chef had changed, so were wondering if the food would meet the usual high standards. We were not disappointed!

We hope to return in 2009.

Excellent location approx 10 mins drive from centre of Keswick. Views from bedroom and public areas across the lake were fabulous.

Hosts were attentive but discreet and food was good (especially the sticky toffee pudding).

We stayed in the 4 poster spa room which appeared newly refurbished with underfloor heating in the bathroom, a huge shower and jacuzzi bath. Room was nicely decorated and the 4 poster was very romantic and very comfy. My only slight complaint was despite underfloor heating and modern radiators the bedroom was very cool but to be fair it was minus 5 outside.

Games room and public areas are very nice and it was lovely to have coffee in front of a roaring fire after a hard days shopping (or hiking if you're so inclined)!

Our stay at the Ravenstone Hotel for our American Thanksgiving celebration was excellent. The menu was varied and offered venison which was a good choice in keeping with our holiday. The ambiance of the hotel, its accessibility to walking paths, the friendly, helpful staff, comfortable room made the stay one we would repeat.
