We stayed here on the recommendation of my parents who have had several pleasant stays here. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The room itself was lovely - nicely finished and a very good size. For such a low price the room is incredibly good. Unluckily for us we stayed on an unbelievably hot night, so had to sleep with the windows open. This meant that the road noise kept us awake at times.
Our meal in the restaurant was mixed - we ordered from the menu du jour, which at 20 Euros is incredibly good value. I ordered chicken which was beautiful. My wife was less happy with her fish. Unfortunately my son's chicken nuggets were bland, factory made, frozen food served with bland tagliatelle - I wouldn't have eaten it and surprisingly enough he wasn't keen so we spent the entire meal fighting with him.
Breakfast the following morning was limited. A very strict regiment of one croissant and one piece of bread per person. After my initial disappointment had worn off, it proved to be sufficient - if not a particularly satisfying breakfast. Unfortunately they made absolutely no provision for our one year old son, who didn't even qualify for bread & croissant - so it was lucky we'd bought his breakfast in the supermarket the day before.
Overall - a disappointing stay, when it could have been so much better.
