An old Pub refurbished to a very high modern standard.
Excellent restaurant.
Across the car park are approx. 8/9 twin/double en-suite rooms. Typical 3 star standard. very good fixtures & fittings.
A cooked breakfast is not available. However, cerials, fruit, juices, milk, tea, coffee are supplied in every room.
Traffic is heavy & noisy and you can hear it from approx. 6.30am.
However, a very enjoyable stay. A few minutes drive from J15 M40.

I have stayed at the Falcon a few times now and whilst my first stay wasnt a great success, due to noisy guests I might add, since then the experience has come on leaps and bounds.

The Falcon is set close to Warwick in the West Midlands on the old Roman road leading to Birmingham and is set in some of Warwickshire's most beautilful countryside.

The Falcon has been refurbished to a very high standard with a modern feel that does not detract from the heritage of the building or the area. The interior has been sympathetically modernised with comfortable tables and chairs for eating and relaxing chill areas for those not.

The food is simply sublime, the chef has an obvious talent that sets the Falcon apart from similar establishments in the area, dare I say the "buy one get one free" types that are plentiful in the area. The menus are simple and not too fussy but the food itsself is prepared to perfection in terms of both quality and quantity, overall superb value for money.

The accomodation comprises several rooms in a converted barn adjacent to the main building, all of the rooms are en-suite with shower or bath or both with disabled facilities available. The rooms are simple but adequate, in fact it's difficult to know what more you would need for a short stay ,very comfortable with more personality than the typical travellers hotel with digital TV and well stocked hot beverage facilities in each room. Another nice touch is the addition of a small fridge in the room which is stocked with your breakfast for the next day, very thoughtful.

The owner has taken great care to avoid the trap of falling into the country theme pub genre that is so common in the area, he has created an ambiance akin to an expensive restaurant yet you still feel like you are in a country pub. The staff are friendly and helpful and add to the personality of the place with nothing being too much trouble.

All in all, the Falcon is a little gem, my home for the next few weeks I'm pleased to say

My company booked me into the Falcon due to a 2 day meeting in our sister company in Warwick. I have stayed in Warwick on numerous occasions previously however a first at the Falcon.
On arrival your greeted with a charming country pub with rooms adjacent across the carpark. I was checked in by a most helpful Australian girl who explained that the pub had recently been taken over and recommended eating in the restaurant that evening, which I gladly agreed to.
On entering the room which was located in a converted barn I found it spacious, clean with all the amenities I would expect for this level of accomodation. I have to dissagree with the previous review, I really dont think they are trying to be anything they are not, a room with breakfast for £47 per night anywhere in Warwickshire is a bargain in my eyes.
The real gem about this place is the restaurant, I had a walk over at 8pm and the place was buzzing with diners and drinkers. The menu is quite small however would have probably eaten every dish on there so no real problem there.
The food was some of the best I have tasted, which is surprising from what looks like a pub.
All in all I was extremley impressed with my stay at the Falcon, if your looking simply for a bed for the night and to be fed and watered extremley well, this is the place for you.
I will definately be returning, in fact I am back there in 2 weeks.
