I have just come across this restaurant in Waverley Rd, East Malvern. The food and service are terrific. Try the Tapas. Pick say four or five to be shared amongst four people. They were excellent. Prices are very reasonable as well and it is BYO wine.j

Went for dinner with a group of friends Saturday night. Been here before and thought would try it again but encountered the same problems again. We froze. We were sat at the back, near a door out to the Antarctic - kids kept coming and going, often leaving the door open, and gusts of freezing cold blew in. Then there was the noise. Couldn't hear each other, our voices echoed around and probably blew out the door with the cold. A shame, because the food here is good and the service impeccable, they try really hard and they are very nice. But until we grow fur and have hearing aid implants, we will give this place a miss.

Table of eight, we shared tapas style entrees and each person had a main dish. I chose the king prawns saganaki and it was delicious served with hot freshly baked bread. The pizzas are excellent and the churros and doughnuts are an excellent finishing touch. A few beers later, and there are quite a few to choose from, we left very satisfied with the food. Don't expect too fancy a place, it is rustic and noisy and small but well worth it for the food.

This is a very popular local eatery that can be quite noisy, however, it is very kid friendly and they have a good range of food. You can bring your Alcohol, but if you want a quiet dinner don't go early.

A local gem my wife and I frequent regularly. Try the tapas and you won't be disappointed. Friendly and fast service - even when it's busy. Weekday/night or Sunday lunches are the times we find we can walk in and get a seat on most occasions.
