Good food and service in lovely surroundings. Great for tea time out with family or friends. Informal dining with lovely homemade pizza, also burgers and pasta on the menu. The starter antipasti plank is almost a meal in itself. No problem with boxing up left overs to bring home. A wide choice of menu with tea time specials.

We've enjoyed the food at the fire house a few times, and it's always well served, tasty and plenty of it. extensive menu including pizzas, pasta's burgers, grills, the specials are varied and imaginative, and it's great value.

Visited the fire house last night . The food was not bad but service was very slow booked a table for 11 of us at 6.30 and didn't leave until 9.30 . We waited 40 minutes for the starters then 50 minuites for the main course . Waitress did apologise for the wait and knocked some money of the bill. Very small portions and steak and chicken over cooked , very dry. Won't be going again ,

Called in on the Off chance for food and stayed over three hours. Bar staff very friendly especially beth, we had a Cajun chicken burger each with fries and drinks of choice for ten pounds from their daily specials board. Going again tomorrow for steak with pepper corn sauce home cut chips and vine tomatoes all for a tenner. Try it for yourselves.

Hello,
the food is nothing special just average, the portions are not large and the chips come in a tiny little bucket,. ( you get about 8 chips the size of your thumb) i'm not sure if it has changed hands? as i've eaten there before. service was ok. the girls who worked the floor were very busy. the air con was very cold so be carefull where you sit, some tables are in directly in front of Air con unit ( avoid). Its also a long way to the toilets you must down 2 flights of stairs and push through a crowded bar to get to them. Also the Accessible toilet ( Disabled) was out of order.
