We never got off to a very good start.
I rang to book a table but no one answered, I then emailed and received no reply.
I rang again on the morning of the day we were due to visit and left voice mail.
I got a call back to say that they had booked our table but forgotten to reply to my email.
We were given directions to our table and told that we had to return to the bar to place our order, Wetherspoons fashion.
The bar is only small and very busy.
After abandoning my wife at the table I joined to queue only to be told that the wife's starter and my main where not available.
Back to the table, this time with a waitress in tow as I had said that I was not queuing again.
Our food was of a good standard though not outstanding.
A lady on a table near us could be heard complaining to a waiteress about a meal that had been delivered to the table cold.
Later, the same lady had summoned the chef and was making it clear that she would not be eating under cooked chicken.
We passed on dessert as the novelty of ordering at the bar had worn off.More
