We have just returned from a five-night stay at Les Tisserands. What a fabulous B&B! The location in La Cambe is ideal for D-Day trips, for beach holidays or just to explore Normandy.
We stayed for five nights, and had a lovely room for my wife and I and a separate room for our 4yr old. We had tea and coffee making facilities outside our room, and the rooms are clean, light and airy.
Breakfast is fabulous, from the bakery just down the road.
However what really sets this B&B apart is the owner. Not only could Nigel not make you more welcome, but he is also the most wonderfully interesting host. Be it showing you photo albums of his uncle's wartime journey through Europe, or his incredible collections of just about everything from vintage cameras, to interesting old French items from Normandy Broccantes.
He made us all so welcome, that we will be booking a return trip very soon.
I HIGHLY recommend a visit if you need a B&B in Normandy.
