Aside from the noisy train track, the location of this rustic Spanish villa suited us perfectly. An easy short stroll to the beach (perfect for our dogs) and only 3 minutes from a good supermarket. El Trull is rustic and charming, not modern with generous outdoor space, and a great BBQ. The owner was very welcoming, and didn't seem too upset when we had to call him out due to a water problem. Most of the property was clean, but the kitchen could do with a bit more attention (I know that the owner uses a cleaning company, so hopefully he will take this up with them). We cleaned the kitchen before we unloaded our shopping. Some of the crockery and cutlery should be thrown out too, chipped plates and handles loose on cutlery. We are a group of 4 adults who love to cook, and we did, so used a lot of the kitchen equipment. The upstairs toilet also had a leak. Finally, if the owner provided cleaning supplies, it would be easier for us to keep it clean, we did our best before leaving, and hope it was OK. With a little more tlc, this property could attract a higher rental, we paid almost double for 3 nights in the previous accommodation - so for the price we paid for this one, it really was good value for the money for 4 adults and 2 dogs.
