Full Moon Village is about 20km away from Mui Ne, off the beaten track. We shared a two-bedroom villa with our son, his wife and four-year-old daughter who live in Saigon and we were visiting them from UK. The villa was great, with huge bedrooms, fantastic showers, massive sitting room with kitchen. Our private garden was beautiful, with lots of tropical plants and trees, and our own outdoor jacuzzi and sunbeds. Turn right outside our gate and walk for less than a minute to the fantastic swimming pool with a children's pool next to it. Lots of sunbeds amongst all the palm trees.

Turn left outside the gate and walk for a minute to the restaurant and beach. Breakfast was really good: fresh fruit, choice of eggs, a selection of hot and cold accompaniments - not a large buffet as in really big hotels, but certainly enough for us.

The manager, Silvian, is everything you would like a manager to be - really friendly and helpful. He took us to our villa and showed us around. We were actually there in the low season (end of June) when there was no happy hour. However, he rang us on the first afternoon and told us he'd opened happy hour again just for us! He was always ready with a smile and a chat. All the water sports were available (free) - surf boards, kayaks, etc, even a catamaran, which Silvian helped a member of staff drag down to the sea so we could go out on it.

The service was really good. Every time we went to the swimming pool, we were all given a welcome refreshing iced drink; clean towels at the pool, on the beach. The villa was cleaned promptly each morning and the outdoor jacuzzi water changed daily.

If lazing around by the pool or on the beach isn't enough, there is a local bus into Mui Ne every 15 minutes for silly-cheap money, and also a staff bus that goes in a few times a day.

We thoroughly recommend Full Moon Village and can't wait to go back again!

Thanks Silvian!

This was our second visit to Full Moon Village in six months, this time with family visiting from the U.K, and it was perfect for 5 days of serious relaxation. We only left twice to go in to town for a meal, but you could easily have all of your needs met at the resort. The villas are wonderful, with enormous gardens, jacuzzi and cooking facilities, and the restaurant food is delicious, especially the beef salad. We spent mornings at the beach, which is probably the best around Mui Ne, with a blissful lack of tourists and hawkers. The friendly manager Silvian arranged for us to take out a catamaran (there was also kayaking, windsurfing and surfing etc) and we spent lazy afternoons by the pool followed by happy hour at the bar. We'll be back for sure.

We stayed in a shared villa in Feb 2012 and took the risk of going an extra 20km out from the main strip...it was so worth it! The villas are amazing...5 star...spacious, clean, new, private with the BEST shower we had in Asia:) Also there is a private outdoor jacuzzi in each villa:) What we loved also was the fact that it didn't feel too "resorty". We wanted some peace and serenity after our long, busy travels throughout SEA (this is hard to find in the 21st century:)) but we found it. The only noise we heard was the sound of the ocean and the birds (no beep beep:)). We were in luck and visited in a quiet period where we pretty much had the facilities to ourselves!
The beach is the cleanest we've seen in SEA and they offer plenty of water sports (windsurfing etc) if that's what you're into.
The restaurant was soooo delicious, which meant that we didn't feel the need to go into town, although a local bus runs every 15 mins and only costs $1.
Staff were outstanding, friendly and warm and took care of all of our needs!
We highly recommend staying here, if what you want is great food, great accommodation, great staff, great beach and peace:)

This place is fantastic. Very friendly and attentive staff and management. Beautiful villas, pool and grounds. All new and clean. Great restaurant and bar. It's way off the beaten track away from the hustle and bustle which is great for unwinding but if you want to get into town there's a bus that's a minute's walk from the resort which will take you to the tourist strip in mui ne or in to phan theit for around 50cUS. The bus runs every 15 mins (yes, you read right, every 15 mins) and is an adventure in itself. We went as 2 families and stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which was excellent value and spacious enough for all of us.

We are living in Hanoi for a few years. Second time on holiday with our kids and gradparents in Mui Ne, we absolutely loved Fool-moon village resort. It is very new and clean. We spent 5 nights there. The 2 bedroom villa was stunning, Excelent unique accomodation, beautifull interior and exterior. Small kitchen , jacuzzi and resting area with bean bags in front of our villa in private garden. Great swimming pool, first class service. Gorgeous breakfast, Benedict eggs and small home made pastries were the best! We ordered BBQ in our garden, it was unforgetable expirience :) We felt pampered all our stay. True, it is quite far away from main touristic area, but we didn´t mind at all, you can use the public bus, the bus stop is just few steps from the resort, the ride costs less than 1USD and you can see very nice scenery all the way to Mui Ne passing the Red dunes. The beach is nice not many people at all. If I have a chance I will definitely come again. Thank you Mr. Silvian and all the staff.
