Our stay at this hotel was outstanding. Our room was a very high standard. A very warm friendly welcome, with a pot of tea and biscuits in the conservatory. In our room we had bottled water, and as we were quite a late arrival, we just brought some snacks to have in our room, they willingly provided us with plates and cutlery for our 'bedroom picnic'! (They can arrange evening meals with notice) The property is beautiful and of a high standard throughout. Breakfast was wonderful and there was plenty available, all cooked fresh to order to the time that suited us. The grounds are lovely and we took a nice walk around. Joe even dropped us off at the wedding reception that we were going to in Launceston and also picked us up, to save us having to get a taxi! - The entire stay, service etc was second to none, and we would love to stay there again if visiting the area. You really cant go wrong with this property, highly recommended.

Room Tip: If you have any special requirements, just let Martyn and Joe know, and I am sure that they will do their best to accommodate, nothing was too much trouble.

Me and my wife recently had a 3 night stay at New Moor Park for our mini-moon. I booked it based on its strong reviews on trip advisor and was not disappointed! The setting is peaceful and serene right next to the river Tamar, fringed with trees and 9 acres of land. The room was light, spacious, tastefully decorated and well furnished. We especially enjoyed cream tea on arrival which was sufficient enough to act as an evening meal. We enjoyed this in the conservatory which was welcome after a long journey. The breakfasts offered provide variety and were cooked to a time specified by ourselves - nice and flexible should anyone choose to lie in! The location is good with Launceston providing a large Tesco, with petrol station and cash points, and it acted as a good base to explore both the North and South Cornish coasts as well as Bodmin moor. The hosts Joseph and Martyn were accommodating and friendly throughout creating a formal but relaxed atmosphere, and also added a few touches to make our stay special. The service provided was superb throughout and I highly recommend New Moor Park for any prospective stayers.

Room Tip: Our satnav informed us it was on the right hand side of the road when travelling toward Launceston on the A388. It was on the left which is a hairpin turn.

We went to Cornwall for our mini moon. After getting married in East Sussex, we travelled down to Newmoor Park. Joseph and Martyn were there to greet us with big smiles and kind words of congratulations. When they took us to our room they had 'really gone the extra mile' for us, providing flowers, a just married balloon and wine to toast our new husband and wife status.
The rooms are gorgeous and we felt thoroughly pampered and well looked after.
Every thing we asked of Joseph and Martyn they could not complete quick enough. The breakfasts, cooked fresh and at whatever time required, are to die for!
Such a lovely setting, brilliant hosts and a wonderful experience. I could not recommend Newmoor Park highly enough to do it justice. We are hoping to return many more times.

Joseph and Martyn were very friendly and made us feel welcome, we enjoyed the first night here so much we booked another.
Everything in the property was spotless, and well maintained, no surprise that it has been voted number 1 in Launceston Area, I think B&Bs anywhere would have to work extremely hard to offer better than Newmoor Park

We were in Cornwall to attend a funeral, and as soon as we arrived at Newmoor Park we were made to feel extremely welcome with a cup of tea. Our room was fabulously laid out and decorated very tastefully. The food was well cooked and very pleasing, we had breakfast and also opted to have supper there too. The grounds are on the side of the river Taymar which adds to the relaxing feel of the whole experience. Chickens and other garden animals live all around which makes this adeal for photographers. Although the weather was not good and we where not in a holiday mood, we left there feeling refreshed and has left us with good memories for us to take away dispite the funeral. They have future plans for Newmoor Park and we both give them our best and look forward to seeing the plans come to life.
Thanks again

Room Tip: Pick the double room with the balcony
