On the positive side: Very nice location, and we found the paella to be acceptable.
Negative aspects: Soggy pizza, and incompetent and pretentious waiters. A couple of examples: The waiter showed us the mixed paella and then went away to divide the food on two plates, which came back to the table 8 seconds later delivered by another waiter. I asked if this could be the correct mixed paella and the waiter confirmed this, but then came back 20 seconds later and removed both plates only to be served to another table. In the meantime we had sprinkled the food in lemon, and I had started to open the shell of a shrimp...
Be warned: Expensive place, but they only accept cash!

We stayed in town for 5 nights and went to this restaurant twice, and both times we really enjoyed the night. Great setting, overlooking the boats, yummy cocktails and I can't complain about the Paella. There was a lot of it so be careful how much you order (we could have shared), but it was really good. We chatted to the waiters about their wines and their recommendations lived up to our expectations and more. They clearly know their stuff!

My partner and I had two fruit smoothies (non-alcoholic) here one afternoon and they charged us 25 euros. When I asked the waiter to confirm he'd charged us correctly his arrogant and pretentious response was 'Welcome to Mallorca'.

If it was Dubai, Paris or London I might accept it, but in Porto Petro - get real idiot!!!

The only good thing about this restaurant is the setting! We thought we'd try Varadero. The menu is quite expensive compared to a lot of other restaurants in this area! The waiter talked us through the menu and we ordered what sounded like the perfect meal. The starter was tasteless, prawns in garlic, swilling in oil, no salt, just terrible the only good thing was the bread, followed by Fillet Steak medium to well done, the steak came mooing..... it was unseasoned and for 28 euros just awful, my husband ordered the pork, I can only describe this to be a plate of complete utter disaster! Pork with cheese sat on a bed of chips, salad thrown in with garden peas on the top. The pork was tough the whole meal was presented like something you may bring back up at the end of the night just off putting! We asked to see the manager who came all guns blazing! we explained the issues and his response was 'We have never had a complaint before' he was arrogant not helpful and rude really not interested in our comments! An utter disappointment! We left never to return as won't the many friends and family who we know in cala dor/ porto petro !

Lovely setting, we had great service on the 2 occasions we visited - once with 10 people and then with 2. Lots of good choice on the menu and they delivered. Nothing was a problem for them, we even went off menu for melon as dessert. The manager and waiters were so kind to our little nieces and nephews, and chatty to us too. Would definitely go back.
