OK So it is not a resort, but who cares.

The 'cottage' rooms are basic, clean, functional and what I would rate at 2 honest stars. Located just off the main road heading into Kihim it is somehow quiet enough to enjoy a good nights sleep and a hot water shower.

The hotel is built on a huge parcel of land however only the half closest to the main road has been developed. The rest is still 'au naturelle' with coconut trees and quarters for the employees.

The real treat is the unadvertised and understated dining room that comes with a resident cook who specialises in fish and pretty much anything else Indian.

The fish is brought in daily from Mumbai and then served up in any style. If on a meals included package, you need to request your interest or else you will get served the fare of the day, which may not include fish. Or just drop in even if not a resident.

Try the Kholiwada Style fish (I think that is what it was called) Yum!

Cheerful place for a weekend.

Room Tip: Take a cottage style room near the swimming pool

I had just been to Sai Inn Resort from 7th Jun to 10th Jun with my family.
Plus points :
Huge property with gardens.
Nice swimming pool.
Negative points :
Very Poor service by staff.
Rooms are not maintained. Maharaj suits were stinging very badly in addition leakage in bathroom, flush, AC.
Veryy dirty bathrooms of swimming pool.
Limited food items.
They charged us Rs.4,000 including all meals per room which is not at all worth. Its worth of Rs.2,000 per month including all meals.
Market is not nearby.

Room Tip: Not recommended

Sai Inn Located approx. 8 Kms from Alibagh. Nearest beach is Kihim beach( 2kms), Resort has huge free space which includes Jogging track, swimming pool, and greenery to hang around.
Rates are reasonable, but service needs to be improved. Food is very nice.. Service in the restaurant is good, but room service is not proper. Toilets are too small. I would suggest this place if someone want to stary for short break..
For groups it is the best place to stay, as you can play cricket, badminton, carom as there is huge area around the resort.
Over all it is good but need to improve service.
Nearest places you can visit are Nagaon and Alibagh beach, Murud, Kashid Beach, Janjira fort. overall we enjoyed a lot, food is very nice.

This property comes along with a huge free space and greenery to hang around. The rates for stay are quite reasonable and economical. The food here is not so great, by the price for which it comes is the main factor and can't be ignored. The services were not up-to-the-mark to be honest, there was lot of delay when asked for food and drinks..It has a open ground close by, some 5 mins walk from the hotel, so if you are looking to play cricket/football, this can be a perfect place to grab...in short a complete value for money package...

The hotel is situated 8 kms from Alibaug. The one thing that strikes you when you reach the hotel is the space...the property is Huge. We stayed in cottages which had a personal garden. The rooms are average & could have been done up better rather i would call them basic.
The hotel definately needs to improve upon service which really needs improvement.
All the shortfalls are averaged out by the food. the food is excellent!
I would personally suggest everyone to go to Nagaon beach instead of Alibaug as the one at nagaon is just 30 minute drive from the hotel & is very clean and has alot of water sports on the beach.

The Resort is spread over a large area with abundant swings and barbeque spots, lawns & hammocks. The resort has a nice pool and the rooms are good and spacious.
But the downside of the place is the staff. it looked like the staff were the local untrained villagers who were doing a temporary job at the resort. when asked about anythoing they would alwats have a blank look on thier face.
One of the staff came knocking on our door in the night and asked us whether we wanted extra bedding. when we said no he actually told us that "badme nahi mangna".
The staff at the restaurant were equally untrained. the lunch/ dinner buffets were not ready on time and the food was very ok with limited variety (I would suggest you eat better malwani food outside)
on the whole an ok resort.
