Visited in the end of October, and stayed in the house.
On the Tripadviser search it popped up as it was beginning to be fully booked.
When arrived we noticed that we were almost the only guest there. Bungalows were still packed in plastic after the rain season. The tents were not up. And some of the rooms in the house were occupied by employees.
We were a little disappointed that it really wasn’t opened yet. I think it should have said so on the booking site. We felt a little disappointed by this. The menu was either not up running in the beginning. (So we ended up trying out many of the surrounding places to eat, with success)
They were service minded and happy. But they had a lot to work with before opening for the season. So we felt a little like we were there for them (beginning to get in money), not that they were there for us, as it should be...
Since early in season we were allowed to use short walkway, and walk bridge, down to beach. In season there will be a little longer walk by the road down to beach. (But scooter rental are very cheap for European standard)
And to the positive:
After all a very nice place. The setting sure is different from other hotels around, in a good way.
Quiet surroundings and not any neighboring facilities cramped up against the area.
The room had a good standard. A small food menu was started up after a few days. And it seems to become a really nice place for eating in season.
Yoga tent was not up yet, but was no problem, and they had a private yoga lesson for us.
They were service minded when they had time. And fixed scooter delivery at hotel, and so on.
I’m sure that after the season opening it would be a really nice place worth staying for.
And that it would be more close to one star up.
