Sat for 15 minutes before we had to ask the waitress to take our order. She clearly wasn't having the best of days and said she'd come back to take our order. A further 10 minutes past when the waitress, without so much as a smile or hello, took our order. Our coffees arrived quickly but the food seemed to take forever which meant our coffees were finished before breakfast arrived. Food was ok, nothing special. Overall, a rather disappointing visit and won't be rushing back.

I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your visit. clearly our service was below what both you and I would expect and for that I can only apolgise. Our food is all freshly made on the premises and all made to order which is why when it is busy it may take a little longer.

This little pearl of a cafe is well worth the visit. Great food, fast and friendly service. A big selection of gluten free dishes added points to the rating. Stop here!

Been to this little cafe many, many times and consistently good for food and service. Today, the service was slow. When our coffee eventually arrived, the server had spilt it all over the saucer. She got a tissue and mopped it up. My mum lifted the cup and spilled it again ( it was overflowing). Again the server started to mop it up but we asked for a fresh coffee which arrived in the same dirty cup. Disappointing.

Thank you for taking the time to do your review. We are sorry that this visit was below our usual standard. The waitress who served your coffee is relatively new and realised her mistake immediately after serving you. I can only apologise.

I nipped in to get out of the rain but stayed for lunch. They had a few vegan options on the menu. Their soup was very tasty and the portion size was huge. It came with delicious sourdough bread. Delicious.
