“Abysmal museum”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

Not sure why they call this a museum - the building is notable but there are more splendid architectural jewels in the greater Tel Aviv area. There was a children's exhibition on when we were there but there was little of interest and there does not seem to be much in the way of permanent exhibits.
Unbelievable that any entrance fee was charged. The staff were nice and enthusiastic and the cafe was good but there are far better museums in Israel including the Tel Aviv Art museum. One of the best is the Ralli Musem in Caesarea which is in a stunning setting in a Mediterranean garden overlooking the ocean and packed with Dalis, Giacomettis and other superb art and beautifully laid out and it's free which is unusual for Israel. Don't bother with this Design Museum.

“Building Better than the Museum”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

The museum is certainly worth visiting because of its unusual and beautiful building. However, we were disappointed by the content of the museum which was much less spectacular than its surrounding structure.

“Special architectural structure”
Reviewed 19 April 2014

You do not have to go into the museum, you can also enjoy the special structure outside and go to the lobby

“Even nicer than expected!”
Reviewed 25 January 2014

On our ' To Do ' wish-list for some time, finally drove there to visit.
Very convenient parking lot behind the museum and an exciting short stroll to the hidden entrance.
Surprised by the previous complaints on TripAdvisor about the entrance fee: so modest compared to some museums elsewhere in the world!
Very nice staff, happy to tell a bit more about the museum.
The building itself is so interesting, the exhibition wasn't the reason why we visited but was cute and very well exposed (bisycles), we were more focused on the architecture and construction of the building which is incredibly genious: both the materials used as well as the design.
Had a nice light breakfast at the Idelson 10 Café and a fruitfull shopping moment at Tollman's Design Shop (don't forget to ask for the Tax-return papers when purchasing items above a certain amount!). Can highly recommend a visit for lovers of modern Architecture and especially of the great designer Ron Arad!

“A tiny but special museum”
Reviewed 22 November 2013

A lovely museum and well worth the trip. I was fascinated by the exhibit I saw which I did not expect. The exhibits change regularly. The building itself is worth the trip.
