Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to bring your feedback to our attention.

We are thrilled to note that you found Elysium to be a great a hotel and that overall you enjoyed your holiday with us.

We understand that food is something very subjective and a matter of personal taste and feel sorry to read that dinner was not found to be as enjoyable as expected. Without wishing to be unsympathetic, we would like to note that the hotel has attracted excellent scores in this field from both, the in-house feedback we collect as well as from all tour operators’ evaluation programs.

In any case, we take all feedback very seriously and would like to assure you that the comments made have already been relayed to both, the F&B Manager and the General Manager of the hotel.

Once again thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and very much hope to have the pleasure to welcome you back at the Elysium Resort & Spa in the not so distant future.

Best Regards,

First of all I just wanna say that Rhodes is one of the most beautiful locations to travel to and it was a really enjoyable experience .
We are a young couple stayed there for a week starting from 3rd of August.
The hotel was well suited just 10 min away from both Rhodes town and Failiraki and really getting to either the two towns wasn't a problem as due to the punctual bus service which arrives every 15 min at the bus stop located in-front of the hotel.
As we arrived we were well greeted by Stelios who took our baggages to our rooms and made sure everything was working fine we arrived to the rooms to find a complimentary bottle of water and wine which was a nice gesture from the hotel but was disappointed to find that they gave us a twin room instead of a double one, but that was no problem as after we called to complain to the reception they made sure to change the rooms for us which made our stay even more delightful .
Regarding the rooms they were very neat and cleaned daily, excellent air condition and very spacious and enjoyable balcony overlooking the crystal clear water of one of the best beaches in my opinion in the whole island.
The swimming pool was very clean and spacious and also the swimming pool bar was very enjoyable to sit there and have a drink or two.The hotel pool and beach were very spacious with lots of sun beds and there was no problem at all finding a sun bed during any time of the day although the hotel was full of guests but you won't feel the crowd at all.
Inside the hotel there is a supermarket with acceptable prices for water and drinks which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Really i can't fault the hotel in any means it was one of our best hotels that we have been to and really the hotel and the management made our holidays very enjoyable.
In conclusion it is a recommended hotel for both couples and families .
We will be coming back for sure .

Room Tip: I would recommend the rooms in the main building as the ones on the far righted side of the hotel ar...

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for sharing your experience following your recent stay at the Elysium Resort & Spa

We are delighted to hear that you found Elysium to be a well deserved five star hotel and would like to thank you for the positive comments made in regards to the beauty of our island as well as to the hotel’s location, accommodation and leisure facilities.

While we are sorry to note that you had been initially allocated in a twin room, we are glad to note that this was rectified soon after it was brought to our attention. Kindly note that a request with the bedding preference can help the hotel to best allocate guests and prevent any misunderstandings that can cause unnecessary disappointment.

All in all, we would like to thank you again for this fantastic review and very much hope to have the pleasure to welcome you back should your future travel plans call for a trip to Rhodes.

Warm Regards,
Elysium Resort & Spa

This was our first visit to Rhodes and decided on the Elysium mainly based on the reviews from tripadvisor, we were not disappointed. The hotel is set in a lovely location with very clean and modern rooms, a private beach and large pool area with plenty of sun loungers for everyone even though it was during the busy season. The staff are a real asset to the hotel and from our arrival to our departure we could not fault any of them. The waiter at breakfast was very attentive and always remembered each morning who preferred tea or coffee and was always refiling the coffee/ tea pot and cups for us, with plenty of seating there was never a need to rush,a nice way to start your day. The pool bar staff and the beach bar staff where friendly and always made a point of coming over and saying hello with a genuine smile. We felt welcomed by all the staff and management, with particular thanks to Sebastian the food and beverage manager. We will return to this hotel again.

We really enjoyed the modern clean lines and look of this hotel, and the beautiful pool and views on the sea. It was a real pleasure walking into the high ceiling hotel lobby with its huge floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pool and sea. The hotel is nicely removed from the town center, without being too far (10 minute taxi). There was lots of shade around the pool. We did not take the full board option and the main restaurant in the hotel was not really set up for that, but otherwise the restaurant was fine.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review following your recent stay at the Elysium Resort & Spa.

It is very pleasing to read that you enjoyed the hotel’s minimalist decoration and modern design as well as its architecture that permits beautiful views over the pool and beach. Thank you also for your further comments in regards to the hotel’s convenient location; this is greatly appreciated indeed.

We are unsure on your last comment as to why you felt that our main restaurant is not set up for full board but would like to assure you that we do not have any complains in regards to this aspect.

In any case we would like to warmly thank you for your very positive review and really hope to have the pleasure to welcome you back in Elysium in the not so distant future.

I recently returned from a 10 night stay at The Elysium with my husband and our 1 year old baby. The hotel is very modern, clean and friendly. The rooms were a good size, comfortable beds and a nice size balcony for room service and a bottle of wine when the baby went to bed!! The food was delicious, amazing meze in Fresh restaurant for lunch. The pool areas were great, separate kids pool and plenty of sunbeds.
However the only points I would raise are the lack of shade around the pool area for children, fine for older kids but not for toddlers, we found ourselves going to the room to give the baby some shade, a kids room or shade over the kids pool or play area would have been perfect. The other issue we had was the location for eating out in the evenings. The main restaurant only serve a buffet option, most people with toddlers know that they will sit in a highchair for no more than 30 mins before getting bored.... therefore the cost of the buffet wasnt worth it for us. We went to falaraki a couple of times ( to be avoided) and did find a nice place called Cavos which had delcious mezes. Other than that we were a bit stuck as the taxi journey to Rhodes town was 25 euros each way!
We had a lovely holiday, thank you to George at breakfast and Georgia at the pool bar for looking after us so well!!.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel on Tripadvisor.

We are very happy to read that you enjoyed your holiday in our resort and found every aspect of the hotel to be of high standards.

Thank you also for the recommendation made about the pool area; this has now been noted and relayed to the hotel’s management attention for further evaluation.

At this point we would like to make one small correction as far as the main restaurant is concerned since buffet service is available for starters & desserts but there is also a menu choice for the main course consisted of 3 different options (fish, meat & vegetarian).

On behalf of the management and staff we would like to warmly thank you for the positive comments made and very much hope to have the pleasure to welcome you back in our resort in the near future.

Me and my boyfriend went here for our 1 year anniversary. my god it is an amazing place, got nothing bad to say about this hotel other than sometimes the service was a little slow but they was very busy so you can understand why. other than that this hotel is amazing and would recommend it to everyone and anyone! staff are very friendly, and will try so hard to make you feel at home. although not a lot of English people there when me and my partner went, everyone was very friendly. The hotel is out of the way so had to get a taxi everywhere but didn't cost much so it wasn't a problem, the hotel taxi service is great, by the time you asked for a taxi it was waiting for you outside. all in all i cant slate this place at all, so if you've got the money (as it is quite expensive) you really wont regret it!!!

Room Tip: as far as i could tell all rooms were lovely, we had the basic room and it was fantastic! cant imagi...

Thank you also for the very positive comments made, especially about the friendliness of our staff; this is highly appreciated by all of us here in Elysium, managers and staff alike.

Service levels in all resorts throughout the world can be slightly affected during the very peak of the season but based on the feedback received and as pointed out in your review those were isolated events that were kept to the minimum. very nice and new hotel. very nice staff. good location. Excellent clean beach.
Food in the hotel is good but not WoW. we have actually enjoyed diner more than breakfast.
breakfast was somehow very colorful but taste was ok. Diner was very good to excellent.
the rooms we did not like very much despite the nice sea view. AC is central... we would rather had our own AC. carpeted floor which, for us, was also a minus point. Balconies are vast enough but not well separated from neighbouring balconies.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel online as well as for the positive comments made.
We are delighted to read that you had enjoyed your holiday in Elysium and found all facilities and staff to be of high standards.

Although we understand that food taste is something subjective and a matter of personal taste, we still feel surprised by the comments made in regards to the breakfast as the hotel seems to excel in this area according to the feedback provided by the majority of our guests of course. In any case we would like to thank you for pointing this out in your review and assure you that our Food & Beverage manager shall investigate the matter further.

Without wishing to be unsympathetic, we would also like to correct a small inaccuracy mentioned in your review as all our 327 rooms feature individually controlled air conditioning. In addition there are deluxe rooms that have tiled flooring and would like assure you that should this had been brought to our attention whilst in the resort we would have been more than happy to change your room or suggest the Elite rooms that feature wooden flooring instead.

Please also note that the architecture of the hotel is something that most of our guests are really comfortable with. The current layout of the buildings permits almost all rooms, 98% to be precise, to have unobstructed views of the sea and still secure some privacy in terms that guests cannot have access to another room’s balcony and feel sadden to read that you felt that balconies are not separated enough.

On behalf of the management and staff we would like to thank you once again for your review and feedback and very much hope to have the pleasure to welcome you back in our resort in the not so distant future.
