Lovely hotel close to the beach and near the supermarket , they also have a shop on site. all the staff are friendly and helpful. The pools were both clean and got cleaned out every night after 6 Great food selection for all meals. The barmen were great with customer service. The rooms were clean every day, didn't have a problem with this hotel and we will certainly be visiting again.

Yesterday I came back to home from this place. It was amazing time, spent there - from first to last day. The food was great, the staff was very friendly. The sea was... fantastic. I liked the location of hotel, I felt comfortably and easy. I will miss... as a matter of fact, I already miss for this place ... and people :).

If you are from the UK do not book this hotel for your holiday. If you have booked then go and beg to move now.

The Reception staff and teh pool bar staff are great; friendly, helpful and accomodating.
EVERYTHING else about this Hotel is bad or poor.

The Restaurant is cramped and very hot. Food is mostly Eastern European and no doubt aimed at the MAINLY Scandinavian clients who fill most of the Hotel. The food is repettative and not for UK tastes in the main. Our two boys, who are normally quite adventurous with food ate only Pasta and Cheese for every meal. by the eight day I couldn't eat the same food again so we had to eat out.

The Bar staff were rude at times; arguing that they didn't have drinks, or ignoring the AI clients in favour of the 'Paying Guests', Children were always last to be served, and the bring your glass back if you want another drink rule was enforced to the letter..... 1 drink per person only....

The pool was not cleaned during the two weeks we were there, but it was open 24hrs a day....
No Lifeguards at all.
The pool area was used at night by the inevitable overflow of residents that couldn't get a chair on one of the quickly snapped up 15 tables that were the small patio, so in the morning duests where welcomed by empty bottles of beer or vodka, smashed glasses in the pool bar area and general mess to clear up before they could grab a sun bed if they could find one that was damaged or din't collapse when you sat on it..... and if the plague of Cats didn't claw or hiss you away....

The location is at least 1km away from the nearest town, but beware you have to walk along the road with no paths for at least half the way.....

The Hotel was sold to us through an agent as a Family Hotel, but there were more groups of singles than families and we were the Only English for the First week and one of two for the second. being woken up at 2am by groups of teens going out to the bars then again when they return at 5 or 6am is not pleasent.

The rooms are basic..... YHA is better.

I have said enough but there is plenty more reasons to go somewhere else. Try Ilyassoss bay Hotel. that is fantastic. 5* in comparrison.

Me and my husband was visiting Princess Flora in May 2012. We hade booked All-inclusive from home. We enjoyed our visit at the hotel. It was very friendly staff, both the cleaning-ladies and the staff in the restaurant was very helpful and nice. The variety of food was very good at every meal and we enjoyed the good food. The hotel is perfect for couples that like a quite and still place out of town. Although it was easy to go to Rhodes town by taxi ( 7 euro) or with bus (3,80 euro). Their pool-area was also very nice and the lady in the pool-bar was very cherful.
We are going back next spring for sure.

In general the Hotel is clean, rooms well serviced, staff are friendly and its comfortably an above average three star hotel. The Hotel does not have any double beds only twins put together, in spite of what is advertised. Air conditioning is charged at € 7 per night except during July-August when it is included. Internet WiFi is available in the recption area only and charges start at €3/30mins. (You are better off going to Vodaphone on 42 AMERIKIS str and buying at 15 day, 2GB local internet sim-card for €20)

On the all-inclusive there are a few things that do not really meet the expectations of travellers used to 3-star (or above) offerings. Coffee is available for breakfast and dinner (not lunch) in the main building. The pool-bar DOES NOT SERVICE all-inclusive guests free of charge between 12-14:30 (lunch is served between 12:30-14:30). Between 17:30 and 18:30 (dinner between 18:30-20:30) there is NO SERVICE AVAILABLE what so ever. I guess OK if you know about it and don't have your mind set on lunching poolside in your swimsuits but difficult to wrap your head around otherwise in my view.

In my personal view it is not OK to have a 90min black-out period of service during the day for all-inclusive guests nor to force them away from the pool to the main restaurant for drinks or food for 2.5 hours midday (30mins of which the can not be serviced at all) - but maybe that's only me....?

On the food I would say it is bland. The breakfast buffet is uninspiering with the same basic offering every day. I miss real bacon (crispy or otherwise) instead of the fried slices of ham one often gets in this part of the world. Also, I would also have preferred fresh fruit cut up instead of canned but you don't have to walk away from the breakfast hungary....

Lunch and dinner are much the same, if you enjoy sallad they try to vary the offering somewhat.
There is alway a pasta dish (catering to the young I guess), an abundancy of parmesan available, two meat and one fish dish with variations around the same themes, one of which often is a casserole. Occasionally they offer chicken as well. The common denominator is however that the warm dishes do not stand out particularly in any way. All meat, fish and chicken is overly cooked and very sparingly spiced. The food is by no means dis-tasteful but if you are staying a week or more you might start craving for eating somewhere else.

A few words on beverages: The tap wine in the dining room is watered down (to various extent) and very varied in quality. The white seems a bit more consistant but the red can vary in taste from acceptable to totally non-potable (ie defect - not just of poor quality). Wines are however offered a la carte at dinner and the wine lover would do well paying for their wine instead. The wines at the main bar are of better consistancy and quality, particularly if you see them serve it from a bottle (and not from a box in cupboard). There is an all-inclusive drinks menu that has the no-frills basics, served a bit on the strong (alcohol-wise) side for my taste but surely ok for those who prefer such.

All-in-all I guess that you choose a three star hotel for a reason and have to adjust your expectations accordingly and hadn't it been for the blackouts in servicing, not having full access to the pool bar while it was open and having to pay for air-conditioning I would have been OK with my choice. But I did stack our fridge and we did go out for lunch and dinner during our stay here. Sure were glad that there were great grocery supermarkets right next door!

If you don't mind these quirks - you'll be OK here...
